国国内市场废钢价格再次跌至2019年新低，继7月下跌之后，未能保持8月出现的价格回升趋势。Scrap prices in the US domestic market have once again reached a new low for 2019, following the tumble in July, and after having failed to hold on to the price recovery seen in August.
继上周急剧下跌后，新的交易中美国国内废钢价格继续走低。这主要是因为出口市场以及美国国内钢厂需求低于预期对价格构成压力。上周美国中西部重熔废钢HMS I交货价为220-225美元/吨，目前为220美元/吨。不过，美国国内废钢交货价可能介于216-220美元/吨，因地区而异。Local scrap prices in the US are continuing to soften in new trading, after the sharp fall last week. This is mostly due to price pressures arising from export markets and local mills’ demand which is slower than expected. The Mid-West HMS I price which stood at $220-225/tonne delivered last week, is currently at $220/t delivered. However, depending on the region, prices may vary between $216-220/t delivered within the US.

Although no new ex-US offers are heard in the Turkish market, Turkish mills are expecting to see lower prices this week.Current fob quotes for HMS 1&2 80:20 from the US East Coast stand at $212-217/t.
